Sliced Ham

At Jamón y Paletilla you can find machine-sliced ham packs and hand-sliced ham packs, perfect if you are looking for a small amount of ham for a special occasion, saving time and money. In addition, they come vacuum-packed, keeping all the nutrients, flavour and aroma just like ham sliced from the whole piece. You will be able to open it and eat it without worrying about time.

Before tasting a vacuum-packed sliced ham pack, you should take these aspects into account.

Firstly, you should keep it in the fridge at a temperature of around 4ºC and we recommend consuming it within 3-4 months, although the best-before date does depend on each manufacturer.

Secondly, when you are going to eat the sliced ham, you should take it out of the fridge a few hours before eating. Only if you need to speed up the process, you can run it under the tap with lukewarm water.

Finally, open the pack of ham or planet. The ideal is to do this about 15 minutes before eating it, to remove any flavour that the plastic may have left behind. And when the ham takes on its characteristic shine, you can start plating it, always allowing each slice to breathe.

At Jamón y Paletilla we carry major Iberian brands. That is why, in our catalogue, we offer you sliced hams with the authentic Iberian flavour of excellent brands, as well as:

• Deseo Iberian ham shavings: each pack contains 100 grams of freshly cut shavings, capturing the authentic flavour and perfect texture of Iberian ham. Ideal to enjoy at any time, these shavings provide an unrivalled gastronomic experience, whether as an appetiser, in tapas or as an ingredient in recipes.
• 50% Iberian Breed Cebo Iberian Ham Sliced Deseo: a whole 50% Iberian breed cebo Iberian ham from our recommended brand Deseo, boned, sliced and packed in 150-gram net weight packs.
